Questions,
Answered.

Drivers, owner operators, shippers, brokers — straight answers to the questions we hear most.

For Drivers

Driver
Questions.

D-01 How often am I home?
Every weekend. Our lanes are built around getting drivers back to Chicago by Friday or Saturday, and back out Sunday or Monday. Longer cross-country runs are scheduled with that in mind.
D-02 How are drivers paid?
Company drivers are paid per mile on consistent lanes. Owner operators are paid per load. Both weekly.
D-03 What freight do you haul?
General freight, dry van. Consolidated and straight loads. No hazmat, no reefer, no flatbed.
D-04 Do I need my own truck?
Only as an owner op. Company drivers run our trucks, maintained in our on-site shop.
D-05 Can I run under my own MC?
Yes. Owner operators can run under their own authority or ours — your choice.
D-06 What kind of trucks do you run?
Late-model, well-maintained Class 8 sleepers with dry van trailers. Maintained on-site by our own shop.
D-07 What CDL endorsements do I need?
A standard Class A CDL is the baseline. We don't haul hazmat, so no H endorsement required. Tanker and doubles/triples aren't needed for our lanes either.
D-08 How experienced do I need to be?
We strongly prefer at least one year of verifiable OTR experience for company driver positions. For owner operators, you'll need your own track record under your authority or somebody else's.
D-09 How quickly do you respond to applications?
Within one business day. If it's urgent, call (224) 588-3134 for an immediate conversation.
For Shippers & Brokers

Freight
Questions.

F-01 What lanes do you cover?
Chicago outbound to the East Coast — NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh — and westbound to Northern California. We run consistent corridors, not opportunistic moves.
F-02 What's your equipment?
53-foot dry van trailers. No reefer, no flatbed, no hazmat. General freight only.
F-03 Are you a broker or a carrier?
Asset-based carrier. Active MC 849571 and USDOT 2459365. Verifiable through FMCSA SAFER.
F-04 How do I get a rate or set up a load?
Email operations@yukosinc.com or call dispatch directly at (224) 588-3134.
F-05 What's your insurance coverage?
Standard auto liability and cargo coverage that meets or exceeds shipper requirements. We provide certificates of insurance on request.
F-06 What's your safety record?
Active interstate authority since December 2013 with no significant findings. Full safety history is public on the FMCSA SAFER site under USDOT 2459365.
About Yukos

Company
Questions.

C-01 How long have you been in business?
Yukos Inc was founded in 2009. We received our interstate operating authority in December 2013. Over fifteen years in business, twelve-plus years running freight under our current authority.
C-02 Where are you based?
2700 Division Street, Melrose Park, Illinois 60160. Five minutes from I-290 and I-294. Our yard, dispatch, mechanic shop, and trailer staging all operate from this single facility.
C-03 How big is the fleet?
About twenty trucks. We could run more. We don't, because bigger isn't better — reliable is.
C-04 What does “Precision Moves Everything” mean?
Freight moves because thousands of small things happen on time. Precise dispatch, sharp ETAs, clean communication. It's not a slogan — it's our operating philosophy.
