Driver FAQ

Common Questions.
Straight Answers.

Q-01 How often am I home?
Every weekend. Our lanes are built around getting drivers back to Chicago by Friday or Saturday, and back out Sunday or Monday. Longer cross-country runs are scheduled with that in mind.
Q-02 How are drivers paid?
Company drivers are paid per mile on consistent lanes. Owner operators are paid per load. Both weekly.
Q-03 What freight do you haul?
General freight, dry van. Consolidated and straight loads. No hazmat, no reefer, no flatbed.
Q-04 Do I need my own truck?
Only as an owner op. Company drivers run our trucks, maintained in our on-site shop.
Q-05 Can I run under my own MC?
Yes. Owner operators can run under their own authority or ours — your choice.
Q-06 How quickly do you respond?
Within one business day on applications. Call (224) 588-3134 for an immediate conversation.
